I first fell in love with beads back in January 2002. My
daughter received some glass beads and findings in a
bead kit for her birthday. Well... away we beaded, and
away I fell in love.
I started making jewelry and selling them in a craft store.
I then stumbled upon lampworking, and thought it would
be fun to learn myself. I've always been an artistic
person, and currently work as a graphic designer.
Creating glass beads with fire and glass rods was an
amazing experience to learn. God has truly blessed me
with this talent. Now I'm madly in love!
I took a lampworking class back in the summer at a
bead store called Boca Loca Beads. Each bead is like a
piece of art to me, and I love coming up with new ideas
and creating the finished piece of jewelry.
Now I create glass beads and jewelry as a hobby and as
a part-time job. I also keep very busy with my two
kiddies. Between watching my daughter cheer and
running my son to and from guitar lessons, I still try to fit
in a little bead therapy!
